A View From the Field

You would never think it's November 6 by the look of this picture, except that the trees should be green. I think it's Hebard park that is closest to Eagle Harbor.  This is looking east toward the point that forms Agate Harbor.

This is a place along the road where I pulled over on the wrong side of the road - there was hardly a shoulder.  If the small tree wasn't bare, you'd never know it wasn't late on a summer evening, unless you are intimately acquainted with the sun angles. Amazing that it should be so calm so late in the year!

The live cam simply didn't do justice to the beauty of the hazy, smoky sunset tonight, so I took this shot.  I seemed to have a slant on, even though I thought I checked that.
